Ueda-joseki Park

Ueda-joseki Park is a historic park located in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, and is known as the site of Ueda Castle, which was built by Masayuki Sanada in 1583.

Approximately 1,000 cherry trees are planted in the park, and a stunning flower view spreads in spring. Every year, cherry blossoms are at their best from late March to early April, and are full of many tourists.

The 22nd Ueda Castle Senbonzakura Festival in 2025 is scheduled to be held from Saturday, April 5 to April 13 (Sun). During the period, the cherry blossoms are lit up from sunset to 22:00, and you can enjoy the fantastic night cherry blossoms.
